The Elders Court

The Elders of Lifespring Chapel are the Core Leadership Team of the church and serve alongside the Senior Pastor in providing guidance and leadership for the church. They are nominated by members of the church and their nomination thereafter ratified by the members themselves at the Annual General Meeting. The Elders serve a two year term, which is renewable once after which they must retire. Their primary role is in setting and reviewing policies and strategies for the church; encouragement and nurture of members; and being custodians of the Vision of the church.

Alf Oyuo: Alf sits on the Court as a member. He is self-employed and married to Rose. They have two children; Benjamin and Zachary. He serves as the Chair of the Elders Court. Alf is an Engineer by profession.
Bob Kikuyu: In his capacity as the Senior Pastor, he is an ex-officio member of the Court and also acts as the Vice Chair to the Court. He is married to Yoland.
Yoland Masidza: Yoland works as a music teacher in a preparatory school. Together with Pastor Bob they have three children.
Sammy Mate: Sammy serves the Elders Court as its Secretary. He works in the Information Technology sector for Kenya's national carrier, Kenya Airways. He is married to Debbie.
Debbie Mate: Debbie works for a non-governmental organisation called World Concern. She and Sammy have four children together.
Ann Kimari: An ex-officio and serves the Elders Court as its Treasurer. Ann works as an Accountant at Faulu Kenya.
Richard Wachira: Richard serves on the Elders Court as a member. He manages a printing firm. He is married to Joyce.

Joyce Wachira: Joyce sits on the Elders Court as a member. She works with the country's Postal Agency. She and Richard have a son and are foster parents to a daughter.
